Today Alan went to Sue and Tom’s garden in Cheshire, otherwise known as Clemley House, a 2 acre, organic, wild-life friendly, gold award winning cottage garden. The garden contains herbaceous borders with shrubs, roses and ornamental trees as well as annuals and wildflowers to provide colour and support wildlife on a year-round basis. This garden provided great inspiration for Roisin and her family’s festival-style garden; it’s the perfect place to chill on a hot summer’s day with a number of different areas to choose from, from the shepherd’s hut, the rose pergola, gazebo and a summer house. The garden also has several fruit and vegetable areas as well as a wildflower meadow, all of which were incorporate into Roisin’s garden.
Clemley House will be open to the public on the 23rd and 24th of June 2018.
