Vanguard Hot tub supplied by Hot Spring World

Hot Spring World – Vanguard Hot tub

For this garden we wanted to create a true luxury spa feel, and there was no way would have achieved this without the amazing Vanguard hot tub supplied by Hot Spring World.

Pete McGinn suffered from horrific injuries in the line of duty and his tough rehabilitation schedule is still ongoing, so we looked into what could benefit Pete in the garden and aid his recovery.

This luxury hot tub gives Pete and his family an energy-efficient 6 seater tub with therapeutic targeted jet groups that will soothe Pete’s neck, shoulders, back and feet.

This particular hot tub has been fitted with a salt water system to give a more natural bathing experience and is cheaper to run. We sunk the tub into the gorgeous decking to give a more secluded feel whilst bathing and to integrate the tub into the garden better.

We finished this spa look with robes for the family, which were suppplied by Towelsoft. This way the family can walk to their Vanguard Hot tub in comfort and fully experience their own luxury garden spa treatment.

The spa retails at £16,000, for more information on this product visit www.hotspringworld.co.uk

Alexander Rose Swing Seat from Oaktree Garden Centre

Alexander Rose Pine Farmers Swing Seat – Oaktree Garden centre & Nursery

The McGinn’s eldest daughter Amelia has complex needs and we found out that she loves the movement when sat in a swing. We wanted something in the garden for everyone but this was going to be Amelia’s spot, so we were lucky enough to be supplied this beautiful Alexander Rose Pine Swing Seat from Oaktree Garden Centre & Nursery.

Alexander Rose only uses carefully selected timber from responsibly managed forests in Europe. Each piece is treated in order to make it suitable for outdoor use and the pine wood will age beautifully in the garden.

This beautiful garden swing seat was positioned in the sunny corner of the garden so Amelia and the family can enjoy the relaxing feeling this amazing seat gives whilst basking in the sunlight.

To give this seat that touch of personalisation we had the first names of the entire family engraved on the back rest which was beautifully done by Chatsworth cabinets.

This product retails at £599. For more information please visit www.oaktreegardencentre.com

Living Flame Patio Heater by Calor Gas

Flame Patio Heater – The Calor Gas Centre

No garden spa would be complete without heaters for when the temperature drops and you want to enjoy that alfresco feeling in comfort.

These two stainless steel flame patio heaters were supplied by The Calor Gas Company and they finish the garden spa look off with style.

These flame patio heaters have a toughened glass tube through the centre which a flame shoots through and gives a great wild but controlled looked to this spa garden. This glass tube means that even when the wind picks up the McGinns will always have the comfort of the heaters in a safe controlled manner.

The design of this Calor Gas Patio heater means that less gas is consumed even when the heat is on maximum. The stainless steel material used means that the McGinns do not have to worry about leaving these heaters outside all year round. These heaters would look great in any garden.

These heaters retail at £279.99. For more information please visit www.thecalorgascentre.co.uk

Kurupay Decking supplied by Exterior Decking .co.uk

Kurupay Exterpark Hardwood Decking – Exterior Decking

With this garden we had the challenge of a slope and how to tackle it, and with Pete’s injuries to his leg he struggles to cut the lawn on the slope.

With the luxury spa garden in mind and the low maintenance we had to consider, we thought that hardwood decking would fit the bill perfectly in this garden. The design meant that we created different size platforms throughout the garden and hides the fact that you are on a slope.

The decking which we chose to go into the garden is called Kurupay hardwood decking from the company Exterior Decking.

This product looks amazing dry, but when wet the gain really shows up and sets the garden off a treat.  This decking has a smooth finished but is still non slip under foot and will be perfectly safe for the McGinn family to access their hot tub, and is less maintenance than you might think. The decking adds that exotic feel to the garden and really shows off the green lush feeling from the plants. All in all a great looking product for this garden.

Retail price £73.48 psm. To find out more please visit www.exteriordecking.co.uk

Gemma Dining Table & Caribbean Dining Chairs from Norfolk Leisure

Gemma Dining Table & Caribbean Dining Chairs – Norfolk Leisure

No garden would be complete without an area to wine and dine. In the McGinn’s garden, the area chosen for this was the patio area next to the house due to its proximity to the kitchen and views down the rest of the garden.

We needed to give the family a dining area that they could all sit at and which would fit in with the spa style garden.

This beautiful handmade outdoor dining table was supplied by Norfolk Leisure and is crafted from carefully selected recycled teak, with a robust design accompanied with elegant pistachio all weather chairs. The table comes with a glass top too which makes the tidying up really easy. The combination of the chairs and the table is a real show stopper.

Retail price £2,499
