Today Alan went a couple of miles down the road from our garden build to see a quintessential Yorkshire garden, with cottage style planting and Yorkshire dry-stone walls, home to the Yorkshire Dales Flower Company run by florist and flower grower, Susan Dobson, who provides floral arrangements made from her home grown seasonal cut flowers, foliages and herbs. Susan has been gardening most of her and has spent the last twenty years or so developing her garden. It is set amongst glorious countryside and now has mature native trees, hedges, including Hornbeam, Beech and Box, and is overflowing with flowers, shrubs and herbs. Over the past few years she has changed the layout of the cottage garden at the front of the house and has also incorporated a cutting garden, which is increasing in size.
